Edge of Wonder Counseling

Hi, I'm Jasmine.

I’m a mental health therapist who primarily works with folks having difficulties processing traumas, taming anxieties, or making sense of the nuances of neurodivergence. My practice is guided by a creative, flexible, and warm therapeutic approach. If you'd like to know more about me, I recommend checking out my website: eowcounseling.com.

Jasmine M. Quistorf

Professional Counselor Associate M.A. Professional Mental Health Counseling - Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education & Counseling B.S. Psychology, Human Development - University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Supervisor: Antonia Mueller, LPC Choosing a therapist is an important decision. Take your time to get to know me and my approach, and if you find your heart is telling you you’re in the right place, send me a message. It is a great honor to partake in this sacred process of therapy, and I wish you the best of luck in connecting with one of the many fabulous practitioners in the field. I believe in the importance of having an individualized approach to therapy for each person. This usually bounces between working with the mind, body, and spirit. I often utilize art and other creative interventions when helpful. It is deeply important to me that the space we create is as comfortable as possible which can range from taking a more structured and clinical approach for some to feeling more playful and relaxed for others. I am completing EMDR training which is a tool designed to help in trauma processing. This has become a valuable aid in my practice. My top therapeutic priorities are: 1. Safety. Although sometimes therapy has to be uncomfortable to be effective, your overall comfort and safety is my top priority as a therapist; 2. Authenticity. We both need to have permission to be real humans who make mistakes, miscommunicate, and are a little awkward at times; and 3. Creativity. I believe a flexible imagination is a key signal of wellbeing. For individual talk therapy, sessions usually look like open exploration of your obstacles and challenges, discovering grounding and regulation skills that work for you, and expanding on insights about yourself. This usually involves creating an individualized treatment plan together to guide our work, give you a sense of what you're looking for, and help you know when you're ready to wrap up. I offer in-person, video, and phone call therapy sessions. I am available Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm.
